Sutton Foster was a Tony Award winner in recognition of her Tony Award winning performance in Anything Goes in Thoroughly Modern Millie and as a character in Little Women. The first time she appeared on television in Star Search at age 15 as well as has performed in Bunheads, Psych, Johnny and the Sprites, Flight of the Conchords, Sesame Street, Law and Order SVU as well as Royal Pains. Solo artist Sutton has performed across the country. Sutton has performed all over the United States and internationally, as well as with her musical director Michael Rafter... featuring songs from her debut solo CD "Wish" and her second album "An Evening with Sutton Foster: Live at the Cafe Carlyle." Sutton Foster has appeared on stage at Carnegie Hall, Feinstein's, Lincoln Center's American Songbook series, Joe's Pub and many others. She received her Honorary Doctorate in 2011 at Ball State University, where she also serves as advisor and faculty member for the Department of Theatre and Dance. The new TVLand show, "Younger," created by Darren Star began airing in March 2015.
